If you apply to a job, you better google yourself before, because any recruiter is going to do it. The principal problem is that, once something is on the internet, it will stay attach to you.

Some companies are now specialise on washing internet image for individual and even build an e-reputation with sometimes false elements.

It's raises the problem of private life and public life. And also, not having the control on your informations on the web doesn't mean that your working skills are not good (unless you working on communications fields...)
